RAJMA GALOUTI KEBABS


INGREDIENTS:

1.    250 grams of presoaked rajma/red kidney beans
2.   3 Tbs. of fried brown onion paste (Fry two sliced onions in oil till dark brown. Make a fine paste out of it)
3.   2 Tsp. of ginger paste
4.   2 Tsp. garlic paste
5.   1 onion finely chopped
6.   4 to 5 finely chopped green chillies
7.   1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
8.   2 Tsp. red chilly powder
9.   1 Tbs. Kitchen King Powder
10.1  Tbs. garma masala powder
11. 2 Tbs. ghee
12. 3 Tbs. of dry roasted besan/chick pea flour
13. Ghee for frying the kebabs (Note: You can substitute ghee with any low calorie oil of your choice)
14.  Salt to taste

METHOD:

1.    Soak rajma beans overnight. Boil and cook with a pinch of salt till soft.
2.   Strain out all the water and grind to a fine paste.
3.   Put this paste in a bowl. Add the brown onion paste, ginger garlic paste, onions, red chilly powder, garam masala powder, Kitchen King Masala, coriander leaves, besan, ghee and salt to taste.
4.   Mix all very well.
5.   Heat a nonstick pan. Add some ghee. Make flat round patty with the rajma mixture,flatten with your hands.  Shallow fry on both sides till golden brown in colour.
6. Your melt in the mouth Rajma Galouti Kebabs are ready to serve with mint chutney and a wedge of lemon.
